VW Riviera camper for sale 1978 Automatic (Stock No. A104)
We have here a very nice example of a late model 4/5 berth VW camper. For an unrestored 33 year-old vehicle this bus has stood the test of time very well, and is still wearing the original white paint with which it left the factory. The quality of the workmanship and choice of materials are at least the equal of the Westfalia range. Riviera also employed a pop-top roof which raises straight up, rather than being hinged as with the Westfalia. Coupled with the full width lower bed, this makes for a very practical and
comfortable camper.
This particular model includes a cooker and sink within its interior layout. The bus retains its standard 2.0 fuel injected motor coupled to the optional automatic gearbox. There is a fairly minor carpark dent on the right rear quarter, and the area under the windshield requires a small amount of attention (though it is much better than most). Overall this is a very solid and exceptionally original VW camper, which will be offered with 12 months MOT ready for registration to its first UK owner.
